sounddrill :verified_dragon:​<p>Really enjoyed attending the lioncircuits x pcbcupid hackathon on 26th July 2025(Yesterday/Saturday!)</p><p>Didn't get a chance to show the final pic so here's a mockup we made early on to visualize what it will look like! </p><p>We made a "Guardian of the Nursery", a tiny "Absurd Buddy"! Basically a fun little stick robot that you put into a plant to measure its water intake. Just the right amount, not too much, not too little, also depends on the temperature and humidity around. </p><p>Didn't get a chance to make a companion app but that's okay! nextGEMS<p>🌍 Experience the Hamburg node at the WCRP Global KM-Scale Hackathon 2025 🎥</p><p>🗓️ In May, over 600 scientists and researchers joined forces across 10 global locations to take part in the first-ever global climate modelling <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/hackathon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>hackathon</span></a>, organized by the World Climate Research Programme and supported by initiatives like WarmWorld, EERIE I European Eddy-Rich Earth System Models, Destination Earth, ESMO, and <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/nextGEMS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nextGEMS</span></a>.</p><p>🇩🇪 One of the largest nodes was hosted by the <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://wisskomm.social/@MPI_Meteo" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>MPI_Meteo</span></a></span> in Hamburg📍 , where more than 120 participants from around the world came together. The personal conversations were a large asset.
