An #autumn #moon rises over a #harvested #field in the #panhandle of #wv The gap referred to is the area between our section of the ancient #BlueRidge #mountains where sits beautiful #HarpersFerry. These fields will soon be populated with thousands of solar panels. My heart breaks. Hand-painted, digitally, in #CorelPainter, from my own photo.

A delicate breeze ruffles the dried wildflowers and golden trees that line the sloping, undulating fields, creating a soft hushing music. A walk on a peaceful autumn evening is made even more sweet as we enjoy a full moon in her still blue sky rise over the Harpers Ferry Gap where the magnificent Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers converge a few miles away. The mountains which frame the gap fascinate me with their changeable colors ... sometimes deep green, sometimes aquamarine, sometimes blue, and sometimes a beautiful soft purple. This image is a very loose interpretation of a photo I took in the autumn of 2023 and hand painted with digital paints and brushes in Corel Painter. No artificial intelligence programs used.
