The housing shortage is used by the far-right to scapegoat immigrants (inciting violence!) when in reality this issue is decades old. Soooo many ramifications stem from this cruelty.

The new Minister of Housing is Failed Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson, the organic juice magnate who promised to "eliminate homelessness in Vancouver by 2015!". He didn't run again because people hated him.
Also, he left his wife of 30 years to live in a penthouse with a 20 something Chinese pop singer. What a guy. He's for sure not going to do anything for housing except be handsome, lie and screw around. That's his thing.
So if this is the guy they're bringing in to fix Housing, this is going to be a one term goverment, folks. Get ready for PM PP.
