How many bones have you broken, and are you hypermobile?
This is a poll for everyone, but I'm tagging a few specific groups to make sure I get a good sample!
I’m trying a Pop grip on my phone today bc my thumb has been sore since I sprained my wrist. Not sure about it tbh. It feels uncomfortable.
Any #hypermobile folks got a take on the most comfortable grip for a phone?

Non hypermobile folks can suggest their faves too, but keep in mind it needs to be super comfy when lying down.
A high profile is not a problem, I’m not putting it in a pocket.
I have also ordered CMC/MCP thumb combo splints, which I've been meaning to get for ages. I've got soft braces (which are great for giving them a break) and push metagrips (which are great for heavy work, like repotting or high-risk activities), but nothing for standard day-to-day wear on my thumbs
I have reordered my finger splints from a different company. The last company I ordered from has fine stuff, but this last order has turned into such a giant 8-month+ snafu that I'm just done.
New company should ship my order within a week.
Can't wait to have properly sized splints again!
Why is the left side of my body so messed up? My left toes have arthritis, my left knee pops out of place easily and hurts easily, my left hip is painful a lot, my left shoulder has trouble a lot, my left eyes is a lot worse than my right one, and I currently have a large cyst on my left inner wrist. My right side however- my right knee is bad but no where near as bad as my left. And it is it just my knee on my right side. What is wrong with the left side of my body, lol? I don’t even know if it is common to have everything on one side or if I am just unique. #elhersdanlossyndrome #hypermobile
@leafygreens @knitting @fiberarts Definitely listen to your body. I blew out both elbows, thumbs, wrists, etc., before being diagnosed #hypermobile (plus host of other things) but the damage was done. Thanks to an amazing surgeon, physiatrist, and PT, I can knit and game again! But I have to take breaks and do stretches and strengthening exercises. I use pillows to prop up my arms and take some weight off, and alternate English, Continental, and Portuguese.
@Ascheryn Hi! Lurk poster, but also #neurodivergent #hypermobile (among other things) #spoonie functionally disabled (but in denial). My two adult kids are #actuallyautistic and since they're both back at home right now, there's no way you can require the patience they do. :-) Welcome.
Looking for recommendations for curcumin brands or formulations available in the U.S. I have been using Amy Myers MD Curcumin and have used Pure Encapsulations Curcumasorb in the past. Besides bioperine/black pepper potentially assisting with bioavailability, is there anything else that contributes to getting the most effective kind? Liposomal? Micronized?
@T #hypermobile (among other things) means damaged right ankle, hip, and shoulder all fall forward and out taking everything else with it - including neck and jaw. Botox has made a huge difference (before insurance problems) as has PT (before office closed). Right now it's heat pads, neck brace, muscle relaxants, therapy balls, and pacing. Good reminder on TENS, though. Also like small ones for neck: https://www.amazon.com/RAD-Rounds-Targeted-Release-Spaces/dp/B015WNWH3W
Just wondering if any of the #hypermobile #hypermobility #eds #scoliosis #arthritis #ChronicPain peeps on here have had any joy using shapewear, post patrum 3 part clinchers (theyre like elastic and velcro corsets or old school girdles) or sports compression leggings/shorts to help stabilise their hips or help with #hipPain and #LowerBackPain? Since my surgery the pain has lessened (woot) but I still have my hip/joint issues to contend with along with weakened core.

Started a 30 day #yoga with Adiene challenge and… I think I’m a yoga person now
Could do with some tips from the #hypermobile crowd so I don’t damage myself though
