Does anyone know how to get Scrivener to replace italics with underlines? I've clicked the compile option, but it's not working. I've also tried doing it manually within the styles section in compile. Not working either.

That worked last time I did it but not today. What moon phase are we in? Am I suppose to sacrifice the goat this week, or the pig, to appease the Scrivener gods?

Does anyone know how do style text in a post?

I’m currently using the web interface of mastodon.social [edit: on Apple devices] —
Do I need to use an app, or switch instances, or a different Fediverse alternative?

I don’t really need much, I would be okay with just bold and italics.

I've seen a lot of people talking about the pros and cons of allowing QTs here which I don't have a strong position on,
but what I'm thinking is...what about #italics?

That's something I often felt limited by on the birdsite. I've *asterisked* some words as a workaround at times, but it doesn't have quite the same effect.

Now let’s see whether Mastodon blocks it. Facebook did—probably because scam artists on Blogger ran afoul of them. Or maybe Google did; I’ve no idea. Give it a whirl!
