Marcus Marcius Marcellus<p>Something I've just learned: if you post your <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/Wordle" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Wordle</span></a> (etc.) results, people using a <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/screenreader" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>screenreader</span></a> hear a <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/long_tedious_litany" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>long_tedious_litany</span></a> ("Big green square; big yellow square; big green square..." etc. for six rows of five squares, and it can be worse in other games).</p><p>So by all means post your results, but stick 'em behind a <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/CW" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CW</span></a>.</p><p>(Feel free to boost this; I suspect that, as I was, many people are simply unaware how annoying those arrays of green and yellow blocks can be to screenreader users.)</p>
