Callahan's sidekick-who-dies was likeable. In the previous movies the sidekicks were largely 1 dimensional ciphers.Unfortunately there was a little too much ShakyCam for my taste, but the on-location shoots were an improvement on <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/MagnumForce" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MagnumForce</a>.Given the choice of watching film and TV from (roughly) that era, I'd probably prefer Cagney And Lacey over The Enforcer, although Hill Street Blues was better yet and knocks things like <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/BlueBloods" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BlueBloods</a> into a cocked hat.

JdeBP<a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/MagnumForce" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MagnumForce</a> was lots and lots of corridors; in the police station, to the ballistics laboratory, to callahaghan's flat. Even the ship was mostly corridors. Very different photography to its predecessor.Yes, there was David Soul on a motorcycle, but apart from Robert Urich looking *very* young, that was pretty much all there was to it, and I now know why I didn't remember very much about the movie. There isn't a lot to remember.
