When hiking with a friend I encountered this lovely alpine salamander (Salamandra atra) on the ground. I was lucky to have my macro lense with me. Moreover, this salamander was a very patient model as I had enough time to change the lense, find a good perspective, focus it manually and shoot it. Just after having shot enough photos this animal went away but to which place I don't know - I guess to its friends or family or to eat something.
And I love the pebble on its eye.

I found this Megaloceroea recticornis only by coincidence. I was taking photos of other animals and just when packing my stuff I saw it, got my camera ready and took this wonderful photo.
