ananas<p>Cloud offering idea: web browser as a service. It'd be a service allowing you to comfortably browse the modern web by using powerful servers to run a web browser instance for you. It'd run through thousands of CPU-demanding uBlock lists installed, scanning through the increasing number of useless DOM elements and run an ai-slop-detector counter-AI model on every image to tag it as AI-generated when needed. <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/modernWeb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>modernWeb</span></a> ✨ /s</p>

Eve 253*8 :heart_nb:<p>It’s kind of wild how easily we’ve accepted that to access links to Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, etc we’re going to have to edit them by hand to go to a slightly different address so they’ll be usable. A lot of that is because X, Instagram, and TikTok want to force you to log in. And Reddit provides their own fix link but they broke their www mainly because they’re incapable of making a usable modern interface AND they want to force you to log in.</p><p>(If I didn’t include your favorite, it’s because no one tries to link me to it. 🤷‍♀️)</p><p><a href="https://octodon.social/tags/ModernWeb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ModernWeb</span></a> <a href="https://octodon.social/tags/Twitter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Twitter</span></a> <a href="https://octodon.social/tags/Instagram" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Instagram</span></a> <a href="https://octodon.social/tags/TikTok" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TikTok</span></a> <a href="https://octodon.social/tags/Reddit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Reddit</span></a></p>
