@davidaugust Here’s a weird parallel: The King of Norway’s grandson has been investigated for raping multiple women and will soon end up in court. But rather than blame the institution of #monarchy for providing him with the social, economic and political protection that allowed him to commit such crimes, the populace’s reaction to date has been “oh, the poor king… it much be difficult for him…”
