Nosferatu (2024) est le deuxième remake d'un film qui a plagié un roman (car il n'avait pas les droits), roman qui a lui même été adapté plusieurs fois au cinéma.
On a donc un cocktail un tiers Nosferatu de Murnau, un tiers Dracula de Coppola et un tiers de cirque Pinder.
Sérieusement, 2 heures de Lily-Rose Depp qui hurle et grimace à 5 cm de la caméra, c'est insupportable !
Contre toute attente, la photographie est assez remarquable. Couleurs, décors, costumes, rien à redire mais la direction des acteurs est catastrophique, tout le monde en fait des caisses, c'est ridicule.

I went to see #nosferatu2024 yesterday, and really enjoyed it. The story’s nothing new granted, being another telling of the Dracula tale, but it has some nice ideas. The atmosphere got me though, and the movie is visually stunning. Overall, I’d say I recommend it, if you’re into that kind of movie. It’s pretty much what I want to see, when I go to see that type of film.
I give my thoughts on the latest Nosferatu and then get into Herzog's adaptation.

(2024). Eggers construye una atmósfera malsana e inquietante, que te perturba lentamente, con una Lily-Rose Depp espectacular, que se adueña del personaje. Se centra más en la tensión psicológica y la opresión que en los sobresaltos. Una reinterpretación gótica y oscura del mito, que explora temas como la obsesión y la muerte. Terror psicológico en estado puro.

I have decided to post a very short review every time I see a film at the Cinema this Year.
First up is Nosferatu. I don't really like horror films but my adult children persuaded me to go with them. I haven't seen the original, or the 1970s remake but I have seen various versions of Dracula.
I enjoyed this. It was beautifully shot and acted although it was a bit scary for me at times. Particularly a scene on a ship.
I enjoyed it and would give it 8/10

I attended the opening day showing of #nosferatu2024. It's just the fix I needed since #WWDITS ended! Though #Nandor is looking a bit rough in the movie.
