Because of the generic nature of the terms, I'm having trouble searching for something that should have a page in the Nuxt docs somewhere:
I want to use an existing Web Component (developed by a third party) in a Nuxt app. It is having trouble with the SSR and I can't figure out how to work around it so that the web component is named in the template area but is only initialized in the browser.
Or, alternately, what I can tell the developer to do differently to make it work. It says it can't find "HTMLElement".
…we also updated our #Nuxt 4 demo site from 4 alpha to 4.0!
Updated our #Astro 5 to Nuxt 4 alpha post to use #Nuxt 4.0

I suspect that #Theo is correct and #LLM word calculators will end up happiest & most productive in the ‘heavy’ framework space, #next, #nuxt, #vue, #react, #laravel etc. That shouldn’t mean that ‘light’ frameworks like #solid, #astro, #slimphp #tempest have no future. The toolset decision has many factors, they shouldn’t be reduced to just one #AI based one.
I wanted to try out Nuxt 4 since I hear it was just released. I followed the instructions on the Nuxt page
npm create nuxt@latest
But that gave me Nuxt 3.
I think I need to manually change the package.json file to:
"nuxt": "4.0.0-rc.0",
That seems klunky and not the way to encourage people to try the latest.
I shouldn't have spent more than a minute on this.
Any Astro devs curious about Nuxt 4?
We've been itching to try out the alpha, so we recreated our blackspike Astro theme to Nuxt and blogged about the process.

Another framework jumps the Vercel Trump supporter shark. Kinda glad I stopped using Nuxt years ago.
Web platform fundamentals is where it’s at. They can’t be sold off to a random fash corp. Ditch the layers and layers of frameworks and just use HTML, CSS, and JS. Those are actually good and nowadays well-maintained programming languages.
I just noticed #Nuxt was acquired by Vercel. While I have enjoyed the #Next + Vercel dev experience, NGL I'm a little concerned with how many frameworks Vercel now controls.
Next.JS - Owned by Vercel
Svelte - Creator works for Vercel
Nuxt - Owned by Vercel
On the brightside, this at least means Nuxt is getting better support on Vercel.

@PaulaMaddox @rasteri @polpo which makes total sense...
Personally, if I had like €1M I'd propably consider starting a company that basically builds a "#TinyRetro" with like a #FlashFloppy, #PicoGUS, #QuadFlop and all the other parts (incl. #IDE controller & IDE->SATA Adaptor) on a #MiniITX form factor (with one of those SOMs) and a spare #ISA slot which then fits into a compact case like the #M350 or similar.
Think of it as a faster alternative to the #NuXT...

@elena The new fediverse.info is powered by #nuxt and will be open sourced, and I'll be implementing i18n support and will need contributions from the community to make this accessible in more languages.
I want to also thank @stefan for creating https://jointhefediverse.net which we link to in the main CTA button.
I will also add links to the most popular fediverse resources in the footer, so please reply with your favourite fediverse sites/services!
I wrote something to help you with your composable frontend projects and shopware. Because you deserve a super fast ecommerce shop. Enjoy reading.

Really happy with the updates to my website https://devlinmcclure.com
Upgraded to #11ty v3, #Tailwind v4, and adopted #DaisyUI for my components to clean up my CSS. Looks pretty good, and I'm doing it with basically no client JS!
If I do decide its time to leave 11ty for any reason, it'll be because I *really* want to play around with #Nuxt more
For those who build sites for other people, I'm curious how frequently people say yes to a Jamstack build when most consumers who don't understand websites would ask for a Wordpress / Squarespace / Wix site.
Are you seeing more non-developer and non-hobbyist people / companies saying yes to #11ty or #Astro or #Nuxt etc? @11ty @nuxt
Just renewed the domain for https://spike.news ($22, @porkbun), our oldest and favouritist side project – since 2009! V7 is made with #nuxt, #vue, and #supabase.
