My <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/rosecolouredspecs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rosecolouredspecs</span></a> make me think it was better in the <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/60s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>60s</span></a>/#70s when everyone knew their neighbours, we shared what we had when the power went out &amp; had <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/telephones" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>telephones</span></a> &amp; <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/radiostations" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>radiostations</span></a> that were of use when there were problems.<br>I wonder how people with <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/heatpumps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>heatpumps</span></a> or all <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/electric" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>electric</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/heating" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>heating</span></a> cope in long <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/outages" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>outages</span></a>.
