The cherry tree in the front garden is currently in full bloom (phone photo from earlier in the week is last in this carousel) and I’m hopeful that this year we’ll have a better crop of cherries. The weather has been so bad the past couple of years that it’s hardly been worth harvesting them, but as you can see from the other photos, there’s been a bumper crop before and I can make usually make a cherry crumble or two. This year I’m considering infusing some sort of alcohol with them, but need to look up how to do this. Brandy seems about right, and I love adding cherry brandy to brownie mix. Someone I used to work with told me my brownies were so strong each one is like a shot! 🥃
