B's wild, wild world 🌱🐛🎼Last night's adventures in junior gardening included teaching young scouts about how our homes are like hotels between natural areas, how beans and peas create fertilizer plus food, and that violets make great jelly and have exploding seed pods.They planted pansies, violets, snap peas, and black beans to take home in recycled containers. cetanWent camping this weekend in southern Wisconsin w/ Scouts in some pretty bizarre weather. 75 deg F on Friday when we arrived at camp and by morning it was 45 deg. Briefly to 65 deg F on Saturday and then down to 38 deg F by Sunday morning. Sun, storms, more sun, more storms. Saw a bald eagle flying over the lake and a good sized snapping turtle in it! Scouts and venturers can deal with the absence of finds, for smaller kids it’s a bummer on the event.The first time I did it I hid a large amount of them locally with the Junglebook team, all nicely on the geocaching website. The second and following times I did it with print outs, a physical map only and no phones/GPSr. That way you have only added one difficultly level and you can have different roles in the patrol (map holder, direction indicator, puzzle solver, writer) instead of a single person. Kids have chosen a Harry Potter-themed camp.I'd like to record myself as the sorting hat, then transform my voice. Any suggestions on what I should do?I'd like privacy (no ad-infested apps), and I'm in the Apple ecosystem, if that changes anything.I'd like to change my voice pitch and timbre. Maybe a multi-modal "AI" would work? I'm technical and can probably do a lot of things.
