About 43% of the population voted for the fascist. 49% of the voting public, so he didn’t even get 50% because some people voted for the alternate parties just because they wanted to vote as a low info voter but didn’t like either one. They voted for them even knowing what they could get in the end by throwing away their vote.

I recall my HS History teacher and the endless barrage of, "Do you need to use those everywhere you go?"

All because of the people that feel "My body, my choice" represents anything they're told to insert into it, rather than what may or may not come out of it.

A double-edged canon. One, a right to self-protection and doing what's necessary for one's own survival. The other, a duty to protect oneself and the entire human race.

Both make the quality of life better for all.

Trump cannot understand self-sacrifice. To Trump, all actions must be taken in service to self. Any action that might hurt the self, even if it benefits the greater good, is simply irrational.

Therefore, in Trump's mind, it's "actually much better" to get a medal simply because a committee gave it to you rather than to earn a medal by risking or giving your life to serve the greater good.
