It was the first time I visited this small forest and actually wasn't expecting much during the ongoing drought back then. I was surprised by the amount of butterflies I got to see throughout the entire trip, including one S. w-album and three individuals of P. aegeria, one with white spots, one with yellow spots and one that was a mixture of both variants.<br> <br> In stark contrast, my last trip on the same day was a disappointment due to very strong winds.
