Milky Way at the Moncenisio Lake
This is my first attempt at photographing the Milky Way, and I can only get better at it!
Climate change causing inclement weather in northern Italy. A sudden storm, and improvised lightning photography.
This was my first attempt at photographing lightning, and as you can notice I struggled with focusing properly.
Terns are back!
Common terns are one of the longest-distance migratory birds, and can be found basically anywhere in the world.
They are also amazingly good at fishing: they quickly drop into the water to catch fish.
And lastly, they are very protective of their nests, and can even attack and hurt humans if they feel threatened.
Egyptian Vulture (Neophron Percnopterus), a rare and endangered vulture, soaring over the Gorges du Verdon.
Almost learned first-hand that vulture droppings damage power lines and cars.
An Eurasian Griffon (Gyps Fulvus) came to check if those humans are food.
More than 20 griffons were soaring in the area. Griffons disappeared from France over a century ago, but were reintroduced at the end of the 90s in the Gorges du Verdon.
