Bio Menace has been remastered by Apogee and is coming to Steam later this year 🔥🔥 (video via dosgamert, a nice dude and an excellent YouTube follow, as he does lots of playthroughs of DOS games and often posts exclusives like this that you'll see first on his channel.)

Played a bunch of Ultimate ADOM (Ancient Dungeons of Mystery): Caverns of Chaos (which is a sequel to the original ADOM) today on Steam. It has some bad reviews, but really, I think it's an improvement on the original. I find it to be a blast-- a great dungeon crawler. And a great opportunity to play as a ratling priestess. 😂

TIL how to run the latest version of Skyrim (Anniversary Edition) on an m4 Mac using Crossover (Wine), Mod Organizer 2 and SKSE64 (to run mods). It was surprisingly easy. The most subtle part was configuring library overrides in Wine to get spoken dialog to work. And needing to use 96 KHz audio to get rid of audio clicks.

Hats off to the many engineers who made all this work. Amazing.

Personally, I'm a fan of any video game that has a great looking claymation type style and also contains an enemy that's an anthropomorphic blimp blasting huge gobs of mucus at you from its giant nose (see pic).

Barraka is a game that's coming soon to Steam and consoles. The graphics are a combination of real images, stop motion and traditional animation. According to the game's description, heroine Ainhoa is making her way through a strange amusement park. There's mini-games like mole smashing and target shooting- you progress and earn coins, purchase and upgrade equipment to help her discover secrets hidden in the park’s barracks. The soundtrack and sound effects look wild, too.

Amazing looking game, psyched to see what it's all about.

Did NOT know the 90s Mac game Glypha got a modern remake that's now on Steam, 'Glypha Vintage'!

Glypha was a 90s Mac clone of Joust, and when I was a kid, this is one of the Mac games I was hooked on when the family got a Performa (I'm currently working on a blog post on my favorite 90s Mac games).

This is wild -- thanks to @1Bit for tipping me off to it!

store.steampowered.comGlypha: Vintage on SteamA fast-paced, Egyptian-themed jousting tournament recalls 1980's classic arcade action. Glypha is a rewrite of the classic shareware game from the early B&W Macintosh days. Smoother, faster, and harder than you remember.

So, someone... Not naming any names got me doing a thing...

*Cough* @ReignOfRaining *Cough*

It's been a while since I last played this, especially via Steam, I think it stated 2021, which is shocking... But I know that I clocked up loads of hours when I was at University back in 2010 - 2014.

I will do what I usually do, focus on moving people from A to B, for some real passenger based business was always my favourite, I just enjoy the buses for some reason. I think they are cute.

So yeah... The other thing I enjoy about this game is I can play it semi-idle, I can be working on other things whilst my buses and stuff do the human moving.
