#Vanilla Bean #Cheesecake with a top layer of whipped sour cream on a #chocolate (gluten free) crust. Topped with a simple fresh #strawberry topping.

Made this variant instead of the large version because I need company over to actually eat the large one before it spoils. This one I can eat in time with some help from nesting partner(s)

Some bonus pictures included.

One of the people eating is picky about textures so the jam was pureed to a more smooth texture (instead of "like boogers"). The half strawberries are not cooked and thus springy and crisp.

I am sure this is not peak decadence, but they are working towards it.

My suggestion - an English (yes) Kent strawberry - or better still a bowl of them picked at the right time of the year. Other British berries are available. Worth the wait and a lot of less expensive.

I was really hoping for a lot better/stronger flavor for the new strawberry flavored Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.

Straight out of the box it's decently good. Once in milk, it loses the strawberry flavor almost instantly.

The cinnamon flavoring isn't as strong either, I guess because of the strawberry flavoring.

Overall, not happy with it and wish it were considerably better.

Plot news: put a strawberry plant in a hanging basket, of all things... see what happens. Oddly, several strawberries survived the Winter.

Then proceeded to pick up and lay down several paving stones, donated by the bloke across the road, he's a groundsman and has a lot of stuff to get rid of. Covered one on the drain ditches.

Plucked 3 stray garlic from the glasshouse, planted them outside.
