d4doome<p>Jean Rollin’s Lost in New York (1989), a precursor to his excellent Two Orphan Vampires (1997). This is a movie obsessed with time and with the pop culture of the past that Rollin loved. </p><p>There are two girls, lost in time and unable to find each other.</p><p>Subtle surrealism, dream-like, haunting. Brilliant movie.</p><p>My review: <a href="https://princeplanetmovies.blogspot.com/2023/03/lost-in-new-york-1989.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">princeplanetmovies.blogspot.co</span><span class="invisible">m/2023/03/lost-in-new-york-1989.html</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/cultmovies" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>cultmovies</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/cultmovie" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>cultmovie</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/eurocult" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>eurocult</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/eurocultmovies" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>eurocultmovies</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/Paracinema" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Paracinema</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/psychotronic" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>psychotronic</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/psychotronicmovies" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>psychotronicmovies</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/surrealism" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>surrealism</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/surrealistmovies" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>surrealistmovies</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/JeanRollin" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>JeanRollin</span></a></p>
