The #Northland will see multiple rounds of #showers and #thunderstorms pass through the region Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The next few afternoons and evening could see strong or #severe #storms with high #winds the greatest threat.

NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR JULY 21, 2025:

#Wildfire #smoke will persist over the #Northland Sunday night as #clouds increase and #winds remain light. Low #temperatures will be seasonal in the 50s.

Some #showers and a few #thunderstorms will impact the western half of the region Monday, with a mix of #sunshine and clouds elsewhere. Winds will be #breezy with highs remaining #cool in the 60s and 70s.

I have a #UPS and some #SBC, I'm thinking the bare minimum #electricity I can use is to run a x-over cable between two SBCs to form an adoc network; running one SBC headless and the other as a desktop. Sunrise on Sierra Blanca peak in southern New Mexico is muted and hazy because of smoke from distant forest fires.

It's feast or famine in the southwest US. If it's dry in the summer, many fires burn and the air is filled with smoke. When monsoon rains return, and they will in a day or two, thunderstorms over recent burn scars lead to destructive flash flooding, especially for Ruidoso.
