I've gotta say... I'm pretty happy with these #HarborFreight #Bauer modular toolboxes I picked up today. I've got about 80% of my tools in them now. This is heaps better than my old Rubbermaid totes that I'm amazed I never got a hernia lifting. I can lift each of these individually and they're all an acceptable weight.

The plan is to take them with me in my #Toyota #Tacoma #Truck when I'm going somewhere a bit more spicy than the mall.

I ordered several more because the local store is out.

"It will be the last one I'll do", the guy said. I asked why. "Because soon I'm going into retirement", he said. But 15 minutes later he had the repaired unit ready. He tested it. And.. I think it works even better than the old one (before it failed).

And with that, who knows how long I will still use the old clunker?

My wife had an event at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre so I combined it with a side quest into Toronto to get a nearly "unobtainium" new windshield for my Toyota MR2 (AW11).

I really gotta stop browsing kijiji for entertainment purposes - money pit of sorts.

It's incredibly frustrating that the one company that 3D prints a part I need for my #Toyota #Tacoma has not restocked the part in over a year. It's a complicated enough geometry that I'm not going to be able to recreate it myself and they won't sell me the STL file so I can get someone else to print it. I've talked to some other people and companies who make similar parts but none have wanted to tackle this.
