I used to use improvemx to redirect all my emails from my former ...@maikel.uk to my new email at ...@maikel.dev

But now I don't need to because the standard plan of Tuta Mail includes 3 domains.

That's progress, less tools, better.

I should find more stuff I can swap for EU versions.

Después de una semana con el correo de Tuta, y por aclamación popular de dos (2) unidades de personas, procedo a hacer una extensa (ni de broma) review.

La app para Android, que es lo único que he utilizado, me ha funcionado muy bien en todo momento. Es visualmente sencilla, algo que yo agradezco, y bastante intuitiva. Lo de poder crear alias me mola, creo que es una buena función para no tener que dar tu correo personal a cualquiera.

Había dudas de correos que no llegaban, pero en mi caso no ha sido así. Tengo la optimización de batería desactivada, y por si acaso he dejado la app anclada al inicio, pero me han entrado todos los correos al momento.

Del tema privacidad, pues me lo tengo que creer, pero imagino que hay personas más listas que yo comprobando si Tuta hace lo que dice que hace. Y el precio (36€ al año) me parece muy decente, también. Ah, y aunque parezca una tontería, se agradece que el correo sea tuta.com, algo sencillo de decir y deletrear para que no lleve a errores.

Lo único que no me gusta es el calendario, pero no porque sea malo, sino porque no me ofrece lo que yo necesito. Así que sigo con el de Fossify (que os recomiendo mucho, por cierto) y santas pascuas.

EDITO: la «queja» que tenía del calendario (que no permitía ocultar calendarios individuales para no saturar la vista del mes) ha resultado ser un fallo garrafal de un servidor, porque sí lo permite. Solo hay que pulsar en la casilla coloreada del calendario en cuestión para que este se deje de ver. Lo estoy probando en estos días y funciona muy bien.

So I joined in a mailing action, mailing members of the EU parliament in order to get them to vote against encryption backdoors.

Now it seems that @Tutanota blocked my account, probably because it sees me as a spammer now.

Maybe it's not the right email provider for me after all, when they're so trigger happy with the ban-button, which is rather disappointing as it's one of the few that promises real privacy.

If you're on Tuta and you want to invite lots of people to your party, you'll have to send every guest a separate email, or else risk a lock out.

I’ve been using #tutamail #Tuta for a while now. I’m almost happy with it. The only thing that I just cannot understand is the search function. It seems to be impossible to find anything in the inbox.
I’m new with Tuta and I might still change my email because of this. An email app without the option to search is of no use.
Does anybody else have similar experiences? Or is this a ”feature” of the free version? Or do I not get how to search? (It has never been a problem with any other service providers… Ok, Outlook is lousy but even that works better than this…)
