For everyone in the world outside the US starting up the isolation process...remember how well that worked in the 1930's. It left tens of millions to die, turning back refugees sent them to their deaths, and fascism still came for their countries anyway. Isolation & abandonment is not a great policy. The world is even more globalized now than it was 100 years ago. The faster we realize we can rise or fall together, the better off everyone will be.
Politics can be complicated, but empathy is not. Empathy demands that we look at what is going on in all oppressed nations and peoples, and bear witness. And no one with empathy can then refuse to help. This is why empathy is being made to be the enemy. This is why individualism is being touted.
So. Let's all climb out of this pit now, and together, as the people of the Earth.

I know a lot of people in the #transgender / #lgbtqia community are legitimately horrified at this news, but I think we need to be clear...
The people who are most immediately at risk here are #black, #latino ... #poc. Why? Because they are already in the prison system, and can most politically expediently be offshored to El Salvadoran slave camps, as a way of saving money. Nevermind people's family members will be cut off from them, and a much higher % won't survive.

#Unity and #Rider have been super slow for a couple of days and causing the whole #Linux #Gnome to stall from time to time. I've rebooted both several times, doesn't seem to have much effect.

My husband didn’t grow up Jewish or Israeli.
But being married for several years now…
watching the work I do,
the hate I get,
the messages he now helps me block—
it’s changed him.
What shocks him most
is how normal it is for me.
Because when you love someone—
and you watch them be hated,
every single day,
just for existing—
it hits differently.
We’ve come so far as a society
to protect so many groups.
But not the Jews.
Since the beginning of time.
And still — in 2025.
As we say in Hebrew:
אותה גברת בשינוי אדרת
“Same lady, different coat.”
Same hate.
New excuse.
I’m not afraid.
I never will be.
The hate reflects only
on those who waste their lives
spreading darkness.
But like fire,
hate spreads.
And that’s why it matters.
Not because of what I go through.
But because of what it fuels.
That’s why we must speak.
We must name it.
Call it out.
Refuse to normalize it.
That’s real freedom.
Not slogans.
Not made-up liberation.
But truth.
I spent most of my free time this week digging into how to write scripts for LiveSplit and finding the values I was looking for in Sworn, which is based off Unity.
I'm thinking of writing down some doc on how I did it using CheatEngine and UnityExplorer then make it available online in case anyone else wants to do the same but I haven't had a blog in years and don't really feel like having one again.
Does anyone has advice on how to share this doc? Preferably in a non-enshittifiable way.
As we enter into Passover 2025, I want to take a quiet moment to thank each of you from the bottom of my heart. Your outpouring of support, kindness, and shared strength has lifted me more than you know.

And how heartbreaking that is.

We’ve made progress protecting many. But not the Jews.
Still hated—any reason will do.

️ If the United States still exists in 2026, and if protests aren't illegal yet, I have a plan for possibly the biggest and most symbolic protest in American History. The plan is to hold a protest on 2026, July 4th, any time of the day would be fine. People can still light off fireworks (if they can even afford them) but this protest can be a massive symbolic move of American Unity. Why 2026? Because this date will mark 250 years since the United States Declaration of Independence. It is a very major number, it is a quarter of a millennium. I can't organize this protest alone. Let's get the word out, and make our voices heard!
A supplemental protest should also be held on 2025, July 4th, as that is closer, and still symbolic. How many times have been there been mass protests during the Fourth of July?
