There was no way, Kamala Harris was going to win, anymore than Hillary Clinton was going to win. And it has nothing to do with them being a woman. It just has to be the correct individual, which neither of those two were.

I have some sympathy for our electeds on a human level.
But, this is also the job they pursued and signed up for.
I don't think I would do a better job.
The reality is that it's a massive failure all around.
And I don't see them trying to act as an opposition.
Rather they're hiding, silent, and voting with the Rs far too often.
That's not ok.
So, sympathy on a personal level, not on a professional level.
