Got it now as we are in the middle of a major outbreak RIGHT NOW, neutralizing most arguments to wait until late Oct/early Nov.

$201 at CVS since I do not have medical insurance of any type. Going without the vaccine not an option though due to my lifelong history of respiratory trouble all the way down to common colds. If I could only spend money on one healthcare item per year this would be it.

Lots of people though will think twice about this spending several day's pay on the vaccine. Back in 2021 I even had a pharmacist flatly say the shingles vaccine was probably too expensive for me to use without insurance, at about $200 each for the pair of shots. I had to directly tell the pharmacist today that the cost of the covid vaccine was already known to me and expected, so not a decision making factor.

So here I was, the only masked person in a Florida CVS, shelling out $200 for the covid shot, with nobody else in the vaccine consultation line either. At least the fact that N-95s are used in sanding surfaces for paint prevents that supply from being cut off. At least the new covid tests I picked up to replace an expiring supply were down to $15 a box. With the constant respiratory problems I have, I get lots of false alarms.

The US can afford to spend billions on bombs to send to Israel, yet somehow cannot afford to keep distributing vaccines against something as dangerous as covid? A year and a half ago covid had already killed 6.8 million people globally, yet the US government has deserted their posts in the war against this virus today.

P.S: Does anyone here know of a masks-required Gay men's cruising venue in mid-Florida?
