Affienia<p>Conclusions.</p><p>I am going to stick to not having egg and cheese where I can easily avoid. When eating with friends I’ll leave them in as I am the sole person in the group and I they do pretty well avoiding where they can and still making a meal everyone will eat. <br>Very occasional treats allowed, especially where cooking separate things for me and hubby is not really an option.<br>I reckon following that I can stay around 90% vegan with very little effort.<br>5/5 <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/veganuary" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>veganuary</span></a></p>
Affienia<p>Now I was only really looking at main meals to try and create good habits. But I did record snacks as well just to get an idea. And boy howdy were snacks hard.<br>A lot of that was due to having stuff to eat from Christmas. Food waste is worse than anything else so I allowed myself to eat all that guilt free.<br>But chocolate, cakes or pastries when out and about? Very limited vegan options. And almost always biscoff or salted caramel. Affienia<p>Lunch was the one I had been worried about. Often I end up with leftovers from the night before so that was fine. But occasionally that’s not an option so I would invariably have cheese and crackers. Managed the whole month without doing this. For 1 week I had made a cheese replacement, but for the rest I just went with things like beans on toast. Affienia<p>Main meals were easier than I thought.<br>My breakfasts were already almost always vegan so I just stuck to those ones. Meant none of the sourdough waffles my husband makes, but I am ok to have those for an occasional treat I think.<br>Evening meals, again almost always vegan anyway. I just removed or replaced the cheese in those meals that had it.
