The #CorridorCrew couch has seated many brilliant visitors, but few if any as amazing & delightful as Nick Park & Merlin Crossingham of Aardman 😻

Join them for a bit of Wallace & Gromit memory lane & some peeks behind the curtain, from the very first short "A Grand Day Out" (the Moon landing one) to "Vengeance Most Fowl" 🎥💛

Fascinating video on the Corridor Crew channel:

"Niko is joined by Wallace & Gromit Creator, Nick Park, and his Fellow Director, Merlin Crossingham, to break down the origins of Stop Motion Animation, their start at Aardman Animation Studios, and the History of Wallace and Gromit. They're also joined by the Actors themselves, Wallace, Gromit, Feathers, and Norbot!"

Watched the first 25 minutes , i.e. one third, of #VengeanceMostFowl and I am not impressed thus far. I normally love #WallaceAndGromit. This offering, thus far, is predictable, too slow and not at all funny. Housemate managed to watch the whole thing and did not LOL once. We periodically view the whole œuvre and laugh even though we have seen dozens of times. This latest film feels somehow recycled. I read that the film has been lauded. Are we the only two fans who are not so keen?

A new Wallace & Gromit movie, “Vengeance Most Fowl”, came out on Netflix this month. Nick Park remains one of my favourite animators, and this movie did not disappoint. He manages to make movies that are heartwarming, charming, funny, surprising, and also creepy AF in parts. And this one takes a little swing at AI along the way.

It’s a perfect little movie to get your mind off things.
