Dear romance, historical, and other novelists - people writing their own vows simply does not happen in Church of England weddings. The wording is set and it's a legal requirement.

See I'm unsure what the question here is - if you have a CoE Wedding then yes, you have to be married. Do you have to have a CoE wedding to GET married? No, you can have lots of other kinds of weddings. But if you have a CoE wedding, you end married but you really can't do much about the wording. True for CoI too.
