🎄 A little watercolour and pencil doodle of a cosy fireside scene featuring some details from old - and new - Irish Christmas (and a hungry tiny visitor).

Watercolour and pencil image of an open fire with a súgán rocking chair in front of it and a brass turf/log box with milk and biscuits resting on it. A calico cat lies sleeping on the chair, while a little mouse peeks around the edge of the box at the biscuit above. There is a large steaming pot hanging over the fire, with a kettle hanging to the left of it. On a line above the fire hangs sock and two Christmas stockings, and a bellows hangs to the right of the fireplace. Above the mantle, which is lined with green, white and red tartan oil cloth, there is a clock, red candles in turnip holders, Christmas cards, two red glass candles, and plenty of fresh holly. Above this is a wreath on the wall, with paper chain garlands hanging on either side. In the recesses above are two deer ornaments.
