This afternoon the team were paged to assist a person needing medical assistance on the cliff path.
Using one our off-road 4x4 jeeps we transported the patient to a near by car park and rendezvous with an ambulance saving the patient time and discomfort.

Earlier today a caller contacted The Irish Coast Guard control room concerned about an object in the water near Portmarnock.
An initial response team proceeded to the location and confirmed nothing to report, a call with good intent.
