I do have one concern with the whole evolution thing. The inner workings of your ear are very complex and specialized. Going from single cell stuff to that is the opposite of entropy. How tf did any of that work?

The Second Law applies to isolated systems. Earth is an open system that is constantly receiving energy from the sun.
I also recall a PBS SpaceTime episode argued that complex life is actually efficient at increasing entropy, because it takes so much energy to maintain local order.
And I'm not sure that's actually how entropy works, but I'll leave that for the physicists.
