#WritingCommunity - is it ever okay to give up on a Writing In Progress #WIP?
Should #writers always finish a project, even if they're not feeling it anymore? Or does this just result in accumulating a collection of unfinished stories?

Neither. I have probably five or six projects at any given time. Giving up should never be considered giving up 'for good'. It should always be with the idea that the work may just grasp you again at some point and demand attention.
@Markkielty@mastodon.ie@rightsprung I've went back to a book I had yet to finish and got it done for the most part very recently. Just felt like I had the headspace for it where I didn't before.

Ya I have become more gentle with myself. I don't push it as much now. When it is time for a project, it's time. As long as I am constantly getting pen to paper I am happy.
