The default app isn't great. Tusky for Android is! There are iPhone apps, too.
If using desktop, go to Settings and use Advanced mode - it's just like Tweetdeck!

@Tarbh i stopped using Tusky cos it just didnt notify me in a timely way. Have found the Masto app really good.
