Western Exposure

Sometimes (often?) when painting or printing, small incidental/accidental pieces arising from cleaning brushes, brayers and gel plates or trialing colours and media turn out more interesting than what I was trying to actually create. Anyone else experience the same? Show us your accidental pieces!

A tiny distressed abstract in bright green and red with broad brayer-applied paint, patterning from cleaning a gel plate, wavy lines from cleaning a toothed scraper and - as a focal point - asymmetric spiraling circles loosely drawn in red crayon.
