I think it depends how you define the term. I understand #Clickbait as a news story that has a deceptive headline designed to lure people in to read. The actual substance of the story differs wildly to the headline.

Now I think there are all sorts of degrees of this. Lets first affirm that a headline is designed to get attention there is nothing inherrently wrong with that in my view.

Legitimate #NewsMedia comapnies do not do this
