️ ALL OUT ON MONDAY, 27 NOVEMBER
️
Call from trade unions FORSA and ICTU for workers to assemble at 1pm on Monday, 27 November 2023, at the GPO.
This demonstration is to show solidarity with all the people of the capital, and to clearly denounce this violence and riotous behaviour which took place in Dublin city centre on Thursday night (23 November).
The poster for Monday's event. A vigil of solidarity and support. 27 November at 1pm. Assemble at the GPO.
For anyone hoping to attend but anxious about times during your lunch break - if you're in town with access to a bike, the below map gives average journey times to The Spire from across Dublin.
Most of the city centre is between 5 and 10 minutes to The Spire, on average.
The head of the INMO, Phil Ní Shéaghdha, addresses the crowd on O'Connell Street, under the statue of Jim Larkin: "Ireland welcomes and will always welcome migrant workers. We salute them."

@clickhere great to see.
@denmanrooke It is, and hopefully will build as people arrive from their places of work.
@clickhere Must have missed you. Took the baba to it but she was getting aggro so we left before it got ugly
@Des_egan Oh! I wasn't able to be there, unfortunately - I was hoping to go, but I'm still too sick here.
@clickhere Boourns! Your virtual presence is important too!
@Des_egan Ah, thank you! (Yeah, ragin' to be so unwell, but hopefully rest and the miracle of modern science will help.)
