@darrylxxx@mastodon.ie@Shanemuk cool. Did you have to do anything over and above what's in the help? Or just wait it out? I raised it as an issue with @mastodonie as I couldn't get it to work and @dregin didn't see anything amiss in admin.
@darrylxxx @mastodonie @dregin I waited... I think this took about a week - I presume the system gets through it all eventually (I imagine it's fairly compute-intensive with all these new users...)
@Shanemuk @darrylxxx @mastodonie I'd not be surprised if a task is scheduled to check these every so often. I'd expect it to be significantly more often than weekly, though.
Is URL verification something that's being throttled on your side @mastohost ?
@dregin No, not throttle on my end.
There are some cases where cache can make it hard to get a website verified and you need to wait for the cache to expire, read https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/10361#issuecomment-678610290
