Good article by CNN about the AI hype, linked in a post, and how if people aren't into it we're supposed to believe the people are wrong.
In replies someone mentions being disappointed in Hard Fork which seems too convinced by the AI hype.
Often in tech coverage you have moments where you realise a valued critic is actually part of the cult, and their criticisms are based on what they perceive as letting the cult down. Ecumenical matters.
