We had a packed People Before Profit Galway meeting last night.
Palestinian human rights activist & legal researcher Ramez Hayek gave an excellent presentation about the historic context of the horrors we're currently witnessing. Israel's ethnic cleansing & apartheid have been ongoing for 75 yrs.

Adrian then spoke about how the Irish people overwhelmingly support the Palestinian struggle, but the Irish govt are not reflecting that. We need to seriously increase the pressure on them to take meaningful action to sanction & cut ties with Israel.
We finished with a discussion and left with plans for actions will we be taking locally.
There's a vigil for Palestine at 5pm today at Eyre Square, and a protest tomorrow at 2pm at Shannon Airport.
National protest next Saturday in Dublin.
Motion to #ExpelIsraeliAmbassador and sanction Israel is before the Dáil this Wednesday - lobby your TDs before then.
