Is there a non-facebook-based social "free to a good home" sort of thing in Ireland? Or here on Mastodon / Fediverse?
I have some stuff that I no longer need, didn't work out, or bought misguidedly, that's taking up space and because it's perfectly good is *killing me* to throw out.
@feylya oh! New to me, will check out!
@jjcelery I am very interested in the answer to this because I have a bunch of stuff to go and same.
@kevinteljeur do you by any chance need an ikea magnetic knife rack for your troubles?
@jjcelery Ooh! I’ll trade you for a barely-used category 2-3 non-ISOFix child seat! And a bunch of other things.
@jjcelery and if the aforementioned doesn't get a result, there's always adverts.ie if you can figure the interface. There is a free section which is quite active.
@jjcelery we've used trash nothing. Stuff seems to get takers very quickly.
@jjcelery https://freecycle.org/ operates in Ireland. They require local groups to run a local section, but Dublin and Cork at least both have groups.

probably others, too.
