Thunder and lightning just tripped our electrics off in the house! I think it was directly overhead. It was like a gunshot!

The #VirginMediaIreland TV and broadband aren't coming back. Maybe the local distribution cabinet had it's power trip as well.
The broadband is still broken this morning. It's only when this happens that I realise how dependent we are on our smart home devices. Luckily there are switches that allow us to manually turn things on and off.

@sothisisliz It just tripped the fuse box in the house, so I was able to turn it back on.
