Folks... Do these values sound correct for replacements for the following capacitors in an Apple II PSU?
C1 - 0.1uF 250v RIFA
C23 - 0.01uF 250v RIFA
@richardtroupe Yes, but note that those are safety capacitors, so be sure the replacements are of the same class (X).
@Retrograde Yes, I think they are class X2 for domestic grade.
I'm unsure of the smaller 0.01uF capacitor as replacements seem to be all sorts of sizes and voltages apart from the one I need.
@richardtroupe Maybe take a look at the film capacitor series from Würth Elektronik at Digikey. I've used those for similar replacements, though not for an Apple II specifically. It's fine if the rated voltage is higher (275V is typical). Also, I'd say 0.012uF is close enough for this application.
@Retrograde Thank you!
@richardtroupe Sure, good luck with the restoration.
@richardtroupe I think https://caps.wiki/wiki/Category:Power_Supply doesn't have that PSU, but if you have the time a contribution to the pool
of knowledge would be welcomed.
