Hello! Let's start with a quick #introduction.
The Toy Library is an Ireland-based social enterprise. We created a platform to freely recirculate toys in the community, organise beautiful educational workshops for kids, and hold swap and play events across the country.
Here we'd love to create a vibrant community of people–families, educators, local authorities, volounteers–sharing the same values.
Hope this is the right place to start.

Hi @Jchizzy thanks for your feedback! This is Simona writing you, I collaborate with The Toy Library from France: I can ensure the concept is totally international. While waiting for the platform to become available in our regions too (hopefully soon!), we can still create a (world)wide community and spread the adoption of circular practices! Where are you based btw? If you don't mind sharing–even roughly :)

@thetoylibrary we have toy libraries where I live (I'm a member), but having things like workshops and swap meets is not something I've seen in either of the two libraries I've been members of. They've just been...libraries. Which is still great 
@Jchizzy Of course they are great, completely agree. We initially planned on opening up a physical library but it would have been too costly, so we've tried the peer-to-peer digital platform option and so far it works wonders 
@thetoylibrary welcome aboard! Shame you guys aren't in the cascades or I would send over some old toys as a welcome present
@JamesTDG Oh well, actually even if you were in Ireland, we would have suggested to list those toys on the platform (thetoylibrary.ie) as the best way we have found to recirculate them is actually peer-to-peer. We're working hard to extend the reach beyond physical borders–in the meantime, let's build community! Everyone sharing our beliefs is welcome.
