The #ChristmasBMJ edition is out.
When I was still in academia it was a useful source of silly teaching examples (of study design / analysis approaches)
This year's feature is on the hidden health risks of Disney Princesses.

My all time favourite may be the comparison of commuting times cycling to work on a carbon frame v steel frame bike

Or this valuable study on the survival times of chocolates on medical wards.

@DToher The bike study is seriously interesting.
My daughter did a similar study on rolling resistance measured over a simple downhill road for a school science project and we were very surprised that my old heavy mountain bike on Schwalbe Marathons outperformed my road bike on Panaracers.
@baoigheallain have a browse of some of the other Christmas editions, they have lots of fun topics that are interesting for getting kids to think about how they would measure something in a statistically sound way (and not too heavy of a subject matter)
