The whole world seems to be coming apart. Maybe it's a good thing. Mankind hasn't been good stewards of earth for the most part. Humans won't be missed, especially those who wage war.
@EugeneMcParland Apparently Trump has suggested 5% to NATO, so I think Putin is about to learn what FA&FO is all about.
@EugeneMcParland 「The loss of a large amount of territory, the suffering of at least 3.5 million Ukrainians living under Russian occupation and the toll of dead, maimed and traumatised would amount to a terrible cost. This would not be the complete victory Ukrainians have hoped for and deserve; but it would still be a victory for Ukraine and a historic defeat for Russia.」
I beg to disagree. Hard.
Any conquest of foreign territory can be sold to the famously moronic russian masses as yet another "great patriotic victory", thus further feeding the centuries-old murderous trajectory of imperial expansionism.
Instead of forever teaching russians that their medieval policies of violence and thievery work, they should finally be taught that *crime will no longer pay*. The criminal must be the one paying the costs.
