#WritingCommunity - is it ever okay to give up on a Writing In Progress #WIP?
Should #writers always finish a project, even if they're not feeling it anymore? Or does this just result in accumulating a collection of unfinished stories?

@Markkielty There's a song about that...you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em.
The corollary is, you only develop the "this isn't working" (vs "this is hard and I want to quit") sense when you've written a few already. So sometimes you need to finish it.
@Markkielty@mastodon.ie@pretensesoup I've seen the benefits of sticking with a story I wasn't feeling and edited it into a story I did like. But yeah, I suppose the way you get that balance is to practice and know what your process is.
