'Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz made a rather ominous post about a year ago. “I know I sound crazy to most people who don’t follow $TSLA closely but at this point it really needs to be said. This is Enron now, folks.”'

Can I bother you asking for a short version? My attention span is making me struggle with reading it and I'm also very ignorant when it comes to economy.
@raccoon There is a question as to whether Tesla is manipulating its accounts to show better figures that are actually the case. This is what Enron did before it's collapse.
@bullivant@mastodon.ie
I see, is this just something that will delay the inevitable?
@raccoon Yes. Because this sort of exercise is sustainable for only so long. The more of a 'story' this becomes (and nothing gets bigger than this in the current context) then the more journalists are going to dig around looking for dirt. It becomes self-perpetuating.
@bullivant@mastodon.ie
Thanks :) I appreciate you taking time for this
@raccoon No problem. Glad to be of help.
@bullivant Could he be skimming, too? @raccoon
@Tooden@aus.social @bullivant@mastodon.ie
I tried skimming through the article but I just couldn't get anything to stick in my head
@raccoon Some days are like that. I went looking for Enron to refresh my memory. @bullivant
@bullivant Looking like it. May they be caught up in the Death Spiral.
