Our celebration of the newly established Climate Change Commissioner role is a stark reminder of the region's sluggish pace in addressing the climate crisis. While this appointment may seem like progress, it's merely a drop in the ocean of what is urgently needed.

Northern Ireland's environmental record has been nothing short of shameful, lagging behind in implementing effective climate policies.​
